Hi! I’m Faith Moore. I’m a freelance writer, editor, and stay-at-home mom. I’ve been published in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Daily News, The Federalist, and more. I have a bachelor’s degree in English literature, and a master’s degree in education.
RATES (all payments accepted via PayPal)
Proofreading: $0.015/word
This is the most basic form of editing. I will check for spelling errors, grammatical mistakes, and punctuation issues.
Copy Editing: $0.02/word
In addition to checking for spelling and grammatical errors, I will check for continuity, accuracy, and readability.
Developmental Editing: $0.025/word
This is the most thorough edit. I will provide comments on all aspects of your writing including thematic elements and structure.
Story Development: $150
Do you have an idea for a novel but you’re not exactly sure how to get started? Maybe you have an outline, or a few characters, or just an idea you’ve been playing around with. Share your idea with me (either in writing or in a phone call) and I will send you written notes and suggestions for how to get started. (If you need additional help, each subsequent session will be $50.)
Please note: I have a minimum fee of $100. If your total word count, at the rate of your choice, comes to less than $100, you will be charged $100.
